The capture fisheries processing industry project in Rupaitu Hamlet, Tulehu Village, Central Maluku Regency, will be developed on around 10 hectares in a strategic location close to fishing ports, logistics ports, solar power facilities, and provincial arterial roads. Its position between WPP 714, WPP 715, and WPP 718 gives it strong access to raw materials, with an allowed catch of 966,989 tons of large pelagic fish. The project is also supported by growing export opportunities, as Indonesia’s tuna fillet and canned tuna exports increased on average by 22.51% and 1.38% during 2017–2021, with Maluku contributing 16.45% of total production.

The integrated beef cattle project in Labangka District, Sumbawa, spans 1,395 ha across five villages and supports Indonesia’s meat self-sufficiency goal by 2026. It includes feed production, breeding, processing facilities, and waste management, supported by strong infrastructure, electricity, water sources, and transport access.

Tanjung Lesung SEZ is a leading tourism destination on the western tip of Java, supported by the government to drive economic growth and attract investment. The proposed 5-star eco-luxury hotel would offer premium accommodation with views of beaches, mangroves, and a golf course, while also benefiting from nearby attractions such as Ujung Kulon National Park and Anak Krakatau. The project is strategically accessible from Greater Jakarta and offers investors strong incentives, including tax benefits, easier licensing, free import facilities, and supporting infrastructure.

The Nusantara Convention Center (NCC) Hotel and MICE Project in Balikpapan is a 3.5-hectare development with a strategic location near Sepinggan Airport and the IKN government area, making it well positioned to support the new capital’s growth. The project will include extensive MICE facilities such as meeting rooms, conference rooms, ballrooms, an exhibition hall, and a hotel with 349 rooms. Its prospects are strong because Balikpapan is already an established MICE and tourism hub and plays an important role in the broader IKN economic ecosystem.

Macang Tanggar is a premium tourism destination near Labuan Bajo that offers a strong mix of beaches, hills, small islands, mangroves, and local culture, making it suitable for environmentally friendly and culturally based tourism. The area has added investment value because of its access to the Komodo tourism area and nearby marine parks, while planned hotels, villas, shopping plazas, and culinary centers are expected to support MSMEs, create jobs, and boost local income. Its natural beauty and preserved cultural setting make it a strong candidate for sustainable high-end tourism development.

Tumpak Sewu Leisure Park is a proposed world-class tourism destination near the Bromo–Tengger–Semeru Geotrail zone, offering a rare mix of mountains, hills, cliffs, forests, canyons, lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and the Indian Ocean. The area is supported by a cool climate, strong biodiversity, and authentic natural ecosystems, making it suitable for eco-tourism, education tourism, and outdoor activities such as trekking, rafting, canoeing, cycling, horse riding, fishing, and surfing. Its diverse landscape and preserved environment give it strong potential for sustainable tourism development.

Mandalika Convention Hall Hotel and Resort is a planned sustainable MICE and hospitality development in a strategic area between Mataram, Lombok International Airport, and the Mandalika SEZ, giving it strong economic potential. Built on 17 hectares with only 30% building coverage, the project will include an international convention and exhibition hall, a 5-star hotel with 150 rooms, 23 cottages, a UMKM gallery, an open theater, a mosque, gardens, and parking.  

Ketapang Industrial Estate in West Kalimantan is a 2,150-hectare industrial area managed by PT Ketapang Bangun Sarana, which has held an Industrial Estate Business Permit since 2020. Its main advantage is proximity to aluminum smelter raw materials, supported by roads, special ports, water, telecommunications, and other regional infrastructure. For power supply, investors are expected to build their own plants, with coal-fired power currently considered the most feasible option.

The planned nickel smelter in Lawaki Village, North Kolaka Regency, will use HPAL technology to process local low-grade nickel resources into nickel cobalt sulfate, with a production capacity of 92,667 tons per year. The project is supported by very large nickel resources in the region, but part of the site overlaps with a protected forest green belt area along the mangrove coast of Tolala Bay. It is designed to process about 2.2 million tons of input material per year.

The planned smelter factory in Batulicin Industrial Estate, Tanah Bumbu Regency, will produce semi-finished iron products such as slabs and billets with a total capacity of 600,000 tons per year. The site offers several advantages, including wide internal roads, adequate water supply, proximity to a port under construction, and distance from urban settlements, which helps reduce pollution impact on nearby communities. The project is also supported by sufficient iron ore reserves from active mining companies in the area.

Indonesia plans to develop a downstream copper processing industry at JIIPE in Gresik SEZ to increase the value of its abundant copper cathode supply, reduce reliance on imported finished products such as copper rods, wires, and tubes, and strengthen national foreign exchange earnings. The project will use 20 hectares of land to produce copper tubes, copper rods, and wire products, while benefiting from JIIPE’s integrated industrial-port ecosystem, SEZ incentives, and easier licensing.

East Halmahera’s planned nickel smelter project in Subaim Village will use HPAL technology to produce 34,000 tons per year of mixed sulfide precipitate, targeting growing demand from the electric vehicle battery market. The project benefits from strong local nickel reserves, supporting infrastructure, special ports, clear land status, and access to active mining areas, while also creating major industrial scale with about 40 hectares of land, 1,500 workers, and dedicated power supply. With 39.5 million tons of low-grade nickel ore reserves, the smelter is estimated to have an initial operating life of at least 20 years, with the potential to extend much longer through further reserve development.

PLTS Banten is a planned 50 MWp solar power project in Cihara District, Lebak Regency, that will help use Banten’s solar development quota under the 2021–2030 RUPTL and support a more reliable power supply through the Java–Madura–Bali grid. The project is expected to produce about 78 GWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon emissions by up to 46.7 kilotons of CO2 annually. The selected site is considered suitable because it has good solar irradiation, is close to 150 kV electricity infrastructure, and has sloping land with relatively low flood and landslide risk.

The project supports the new capital city in East Kalimantan by developing renewable energy infrastructure, especially large-scale solar power, transmission networks, and energy storage, in line with Indonesia’s goal of building a low-carbon city powered by 100% renewable energy. It is also part of a broader strategy for economic transformation, supported by infrastructure, regulatory reform, and smart, reliable electricity systems with zero downtime. The plan is reinforced by national and regional energy targets, including the addition of 50 MW of solar power in Kalimantan, plus wind and hydropower capacity to help meet IKN’s future electricity needs. 

The integrated poultry farming project is intended to support the new Indonesian Capital City by meeting rising chicken meat demand in East Kalimantan through on-farm and off-farm development in Muara Sembilang Village and the Kariangau Industrial Area, Balikpapan. The project benefits from proximity to poultry raw materials, an experienced local poultry community, competitive land prices, and strong logistics access through ports, the airport, arterial roads, and toll roads. It is also supported by key infrastructure, including clean water, electricity reserves, waste management services, and telecommunications.

The Integrated Horticultural Industry Development Project in Rintik Village, Babulu District, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, will support shallot and red chili production on 65 hectares, targeting 1,500 tons of shallots and 650 tons of chili per year. It also includes 5 hectares for processing and 1.5 hectares for cold storage, with annual targets of 1,094 tons of shallot paste and 456 tons of chili paste. The project is designed as a sustainable agriculture strategy to support IKN, with advantages including suitable horticultural land, access to provincial roads and Penajam Port, electricity service, and a nearby water source from Babulu Reservoir.

The shrimp farming project will be developed on 176 hectares in Dasan Anyar and Goa Villages, Jereweh District, West Sumbawa Regency, as an integrated intensive vannamei shrimp area with hatchery, grow-out, freezing, and cold storage facilities. The site is considered suitable because it has flat community-owned land, is free from Protected Paddy Land, and has reliable seawater and freshwater sources from Poyang Beach and the Jereweh River. It is also strategically accessible by road, sea, and air, with links to major roads, Poto Tano Port, Taliwang Terminal, and Sumbawa Besar Airport.
