Indonesian Business Luncheon: Disseminating Potential Market of Asset and Investment Opportunities in East Java Province

On November 29 at Novotel Sydney, the East Java Provincial Government, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Sydney and IIPC Sydney, organized the Indonesian Business Luncheon: Potential Asset Markets and Investment Opportunities in East Java. The purpose of this event was to strengthen cooperation between Indonesia and Australia by providing insights into the potential asset markets and investment opportunities in East Java.

 The event was opened by the Indonesian Economic Consul in Sydney, Mr. Ahmad Firman Sejati, who provided a general overview of the economic and investment climate in Indonesia. He emphasized the need for Australian investors to diversify their investments to other regions in Java, and this event was the perfect opportunity for investors to learn about investment opportunities in East Java.

 In this opportunity, several investment projects with different methods of collaboration are available such as Wizmie based on Land Rental grants, Saragsari Magetan based on Asset Utilization Collaboration, and Dr. Soetomo General Hospital Hostel which uses a Build, Operate, Transfer arrangement.

 Mr. Aris Mukiyono, Head of Financial Management and Asset of the East Java Provincial Region, shared insights into "Investment Prospects in the East Java Province." He explained tax incentives and other fiscal benefits that investors may receive if they invest in the Special Economic Zones in the East Java Province. On the other hand, Mr. Didik Prasetiyono, CEO of PT Surabaya Industrial Real Estate Rungkut, discussed "Exploring Potential: Roadmap for Energy Efficiency," showing luncheon participants how the East Java Province is committed to the development of renewable and green energy through various investment projects. continued by Mr. Isma Swadjaja, Director of PT Paca Wira Usaha, presented an interesting topic on "Optimizing the Use of Assets and Medical Devices," encouraging investors to partner with government-backed businesses in East Java to ensure efficiency when entering the market in the province. He provided various ways to invest and handle business affairs.
