Mr. Wahyu Wijayanto, the Director of Industry, Tourism, and Creative Economy at Ministry of National Development Planning of the Republic of Indonesia, shared his thoughts about Indonesia's blue economy roadmap. Currently, the Indonesian government offers collaboration opportunities in the blue economy sector, such as the maritime product processing industry and the shipping industry.
This event opens up more opportunities for further cooperation between the Western Australian government, especially the City of Cockburn, and Indonesia in both countries priorities sectors. This cooperation can be built on the basis of existing cooperation frameworks, such as Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA), The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and the relationship between the governments of West Australia and East Java.
