On the 19th of May 2023 the Indonesian Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) Sydney, in collaboration with the Indonesian Consulate General in Sydney, the Australian Indonesian Association (AIA) South Australia (SA), and the Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) hosted the Business and Investment Summit & ASEAN Indo-Pacific Infrastructure Forum (AIPIF) Australia Roadshow at the Hilton Hotel.

Zulkifli Hasan, and Deputy Minister for Strategic Downstream Investment Mr. Heldy Satrya Putera who attended the summit to share their thoughts on Indonesia’s investment climate and encouraging investors to come to Indonesia and invest on prospective projects.
Following the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit & AIPIF Australia Roadshow, on May 21 2023, IIPC Sydney participates at IndoFest 2023 by opening a booth to showcase potential investment projects in Indonesia. The event took place at the Pinky Flat in the CBD. Organized by the AIA SA and the Australian Indonesia Youth Association South Australian (AIYA SA), the event serves to further tighten the bond between Indonesia and Australia.
Mr. Vedi Kurnia Buana, the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Sydney, also extended warm greetings to all attendees, emphasizing the significance of such cultural gatherings in strengthening the bonds between Indonesia and Australia.
Not just a celebration of culture, IndoFest 2023 also took on a civic responsibility as PPLN and Panwaslu Sydney utilized the platform to promote Indonesia's future presidential election for 2024. Encouraging political participation, this added dimension underscored the event's role as a vital channel for engaging the Indonesian diaspora in Australia.
